Where Will I Be Staying?

You’ll live in Elida Trails & Eco-Lodge, affectionately known as "The Forest."

Nestled in a serene 23-acre private forest reserve, this family-run eco-lodge offers a peaceful retreat, approximately 1 mile from Santa Elena Town and a short stroll from the campus.

Located just a 5-minute walk from the enchanting Eternal Rainforest, exclusive hiking trails and beautifully maintained gardens; Elida Trails & Eco-Lodge is your gateway to the wonders of Monteverde.

All students receive three meals per day and we can accommodate a variety of dietary needs.

What are the Program Requirements and Dates?

This program is open to all majors, not just those environment-focused.

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA required
  • Currently enrolled in university or recently graduated
  • No Spanish language experience or prerequisites required
