Volunteering in the Galapagos Islands

Live and work in the amazing Galapagos Islands while supporting local communities

Volunteer in the Galapagos Islands and experience daily life in this legendary biodiversity hotspot. The work you do here is designed to meet real needs in the local community. We offer several different kinds of projects, so you can choose what’s best for you.

You can help with important conservation work in the Galapagos National Park. You’ll monitor animal populations, collect data, and remove invasive species. You can also support children through education by advancing their early childhood development. You can even choose to improve your Spanish on a language course.

We’re based in the town of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, on the island of San Cristobal. This is the easternmost island in the Galapagos. It’s an incredible place to wake up and work in each day. Our staff in the Galapagos Islands will be available 24/7 to support and help you.

There’s a lot to see and do during your free time. If you love the outdoors, you can adventure on a scenic hike, travel to the different islands, or go scuba diving. See how much of the local wildlife you can spot, and don’t forget witnessing the giant tortoises!
